APRILIA RSV MILLE R GETS NEW DELTA SPORT |
 Micron has announced the launch of its new Delta Sport twin end-cans for Aprilia’s popular RSV Mille R and its naked variant, the Tuono R.
The new Delta Sport silencers are a natural evolution of Micron’s existing Delta+ range, with the addition of new outlet end-caps in a variety of complimentary finishes.
The twin end-cans provide a horsepower increase of around 4bhp at 9500rpm, along with a significant boost in torque levels, particularly at the bottom end of the rev range. They also offer a weight saving of more than 4kg over the standard units.
“Delta Sport is an important addition to the Micron range,” commented brand manager, Arthur Macdonald, “and Aprilia’s impressive RSV Mille R and Tuono are the ideal bikes to launch with.
“The Delta Sport not only looks better than the standard Delta+,” he continued, “it’s much better value, too. The upgrade, including the new style outlet, which is in a ceramic black finish on the titanium version, comes at no extra cost.”
Micron’s new Delta Sport end-cans are available for the Aprilia RSV Mille R from 2004 onwards and the ‘Factory’ version from 2006. They can also be fitted to the Tuono R Factory from 2004 and the Tuono R from 2006. The stainless version (RMA02/OAR) will retail at £449.98 including VAT and the titanium with black end-caps (RMA02/OTR) at £599.98.
