GP SPORT PROVIDES A KICK FOR NEW NINJA |
Micron has revealed its GP Sport silencer for the 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, which has received five-star reviews and has been described as a ‘true superbike for the road.’
The new product has been designed specifically for the ZX-10R and manufactured using Micron’s advanced Hydraform technique to match perfectly the lines of the latest 1000cc Ninja.
It weighs 2kg less than the bike’s original silencer and increases the ZX-10R’s considerable horsepower by as much as 3.5bhp and its maximum torque figure by 3.2ft.lbs.
The GP Sport is approved to BSAU 193a:1990/T3 and supplied with a removable baffle, which, when inserted, maintains the noise level of the original equipment – 92.5dB at 6,250rpm.
Like Micron’s other GP Sport offerings, the silencer is available in three high quality finishes: Satin Silver, which will retail at £279.99 including VAT, High Mirror Polish (£329.99) and Ceramic Black (£329.99).
