MICRON ADDS TO 650 BANDIT |
Following the recent announcement of its Delta+ silencer for Suzuki’s all-new 1250 Bandit, Micron has added the new 650 version to its portfolio. Like its larger sibling, the 650 was relaunched by Suzuki earlier this year with a liquid-cooled engine to meet Euro III emissions.
Available in titanium or stainless steel finishes, Micron’s Delta+ silencer comes complete with connecting pipe and, at a combined weight of 3.3kg, weighs in at just half the amount of the standard silencer and connector.
The Delta+ delivers a healthy boost in power in the Bandit’s mid-range and this increases to an impressive 4bhp lift above the standard bike’s power output figure up to maximum revs.
The recommended retail price for the stainless steel finish Delta+ for Suzuki’s 2007 650 Bandit is £249.99 including VAT. The titanium option, meanwhile, will cost £324.99. The unit will fit directly to the bike without the need for any adjustments.
“The middleweight Bandit has been one of the world’s most popular bikes since it was launched in the early nineties,” said Micron’s brand manager, Arthur Macdonald. “Suzuki’s engineers have done a brilliant job in keeping it modern and relevant during the last 12 years and the 2007 version is no exception. Our Delta+ silencer gives the Bandit just a little bit more character and attitude.”
